Dainty Damselflies
Challenge has finished
This challenge is just for photos of DAMSELFLIES, (Order Odonata, Suborder Zygoptera) the much daintier smaller cousins of dragonflies. The damselflies must be outside, on flowers, leaves, flying around, or just doing what damselflies do; NOT under studio lights. Macro shots welcome. NO photos of Dragonflies (Order Odonata, Suborder Anistera) please. They are usually bigger and sturdier than damselflies and will be DQ'd. They had their own challenge recently. http://bugguide.net/node/view/190/bgpage will provide more information about damselflies. SIZE: 1,600px MAXIMUM ON LONGER SIDE.
