The Azadi Tower (Persian: برج آزادی‎, Borj-e Āzādi; translated: Freedom Tower), previously known as the Shahyād Āryāmehr (Persian: شهیاد آریامهر‎; English: King Memorial Tower), is the symbol of Tehran, the capital of Iran, and marks the west entrance to the city.

Thank you all for the attention you have given to me picture! Believe it or not this was the secound HDR I took, the first was from my desk!! I guess HDR makes everything look good! About the composition I have to say I only have a 50 mm prime lens and I couldn't fit the whole structure in the frame without haveing some cars in the picture, so I chose this composition!

That is a very interesting and majestic monument, very powerful and almost sensuous but strong.

I hope the freedom it symbolizes comes to Iran sooner than later, whatever form they desire.
