Fern Fronds
Challenge has finished
In this challenge, show us the beauty of ferns, just-unfurling fronds, a small fern plant or a large tree fern. A fern is a plant in the Pteridophyta family, with stems, leaves, roots and reproduces via spores. It has no seeds or flowers. (NO photos of cycads or palms which are not related to ferns, please.) The ferns (unless grown as a house-plant or in a glasshouse) should be outside in their natural environment, not shot inside under studio lights. Macro and close-up shots welcome. SIZE: 1,600px MAXIMUM ON LONGER SIDE.
