Photographer audition: Baby photographer

A local portrait studio recently lost their highly acclaimed baby photographer. The other photographers employed there are unable to take on the additional work, so they are looking to add a new photographer with experience shooting babies and toddlers. Submit one or two of your best photos of a toddler or baby. The subject must be well lit but with no direct (on camera) flash. The subject must appear to be posed (as much as you can pose infants and toddlers), not taken as a snapshot.

Mischievous but Lovable

20 months old Giselle got to sit in front my camera last June. She is super active and is not shy at all! With her full expression, my camera could barely keep up. At the end of session, she was exhausted after hopping around in my studio and we were ready to wrap up. Since she was tired, we finally get to take a few shots with her sitting down. For the final shot, I asked her if she is ready for snack. Her face lit up as it was music to her ears, and then, right at the moment, I clicked the shutter.
