Images will be environmental portraits ideally, but traditional portraits are also acceptable if that's all you have. This is NOT the challenge for images of the Great Wall, Forbidden City, etc . . . that will be another challenge.

Capture date rules:

No restrictions.

Additional rules:

-Image must be 1600 pixels on the longest side.
-1% leeway on size restrictions
-Must have a meaningful title
-Either title or details must give location where image was shot
-Environmental photographs should be given a slight "bonus" (about 0.5 points)
-Non-environmental portraits (i.e., ones not showing subject interacting with his/her environment) should have their scores voted down by about 0.5 points.
-Photos that are the recipient of suspicious voting patterns (come on; we all know them when we see them) will be DQ'd.
-I will recognize the top few "Judge's Choice" images in the Challenge forum, after the voting phase has ended.
