This is meant to be a meaningful picture. A picture which tells us the history. Like an animal ravaging through human litter tells us how people have invaded their homes. An injured animal shows the abuse its has taken on. So please provide your best shot here at portraying a history. It can be good things too.

In the 1920s Joseph Rock introduced to the world the beauty of the mountainous region in south-west China. His publications inspired the novel Lost Horizon by James Hilton which in turn inspired at least two movies. Now the world is quite familiar with Shangrila or Shambhala. This photo of Mount Jambeyang was taken in what is now the Yading Nature Reserve. A photo taken by Joseph Rock in 1928 from a similar viewpoint can be found here http://www.josephrock.net/2005/11/mt-jambeyang-yading-national-park.html. Mount Jambeyang at 5958m above sea level is revered as a sacred mountain and is looked upon as an avatar of Manjushri, the Bodhisattva of Wisdom.
