A wonderful experience on cruise. These men in small boats hovering around the cruiser, sell towels and bed spreads with unique Egyptian motifs. Once the deal is struck, they will throw the item stuffed in a plastic bag. You have to catch it from the deck, the payment is also done the same way. This typically happens near Esna Lock, the place where the ships are transferred from lower nile to upper nile.
