A magazine, specializing in model construction, is looking for some original examples of miniatures for their publication. This includes elaborate doll houses, dioramas, models and architectural mock-ups. The image must not be a straight-forward catalog shot, but show command of lighting and composition to make the miniature appear realistic.

The model-maker's brief was to make a 'replica' of an 18th-century model that his client had seen in a museum. So in that sense, this is a model of a model, and - obeying the rules - it therefore 'appears realistic'.
