A moving kinetic installation at Singapore's changi airport involves 608 bronze droplets that are moved via high-precision motors, each droplet spotlit from below by a focussed halogen lamp. A microphone was the subject of the image, the bokeh of the lights behind show off a very interesting pattern of light

Notes: When shooting a vintage microphone with the installation behind it, the shallow DoF creates a shimmer of color behind it with the bronze droplets each a source of reflected light, and the overhead lighting of the departure hall creates a very pleasing presentation
