Drat That Gnat!!

Gnats, mosquitos, midges, sand flies or other similar little beasties which annoy and pester us, by drilling holes in our skin and removing our precious blood, or just biting us to make us itch.... I'll also allow crane flies and other related insects with slender bodies and long legs. Show us these insects, preferably outside in their natural environment. OR you can capture their image inside your home while they are biting you, but that is probably your problem.... :-( Not photographed under studio lights please; think natural! Entries of house or blowflies, bees, spiders etc will be swatted before being DQ'd. Google Wikipedia if you are in doubt whether your insect is in the gnat/ mosquito family. SIZE DOES MATTER!
