Challenge has finished
Documentary photography isnt all about sports and action. Often photojournalists will find themselves working at a concert or play rather than in the field shooting a major sporting event. For this challenge, I would like to see images of a lay, concert, or other form of performing arts. Remember to get the emotions of your subject, and try to be creative with your set-up. From what I have seen in the last challenge, you really know hoe to interpret the theme, so try to do the same for this competition. Good Luck to you all!

My cousin's day after wedding (in Indian tradition, this is called a Walima). This photo represents all the first degree cousins in our family who plotted that when we would go on stage for the family photo, we would unfold a large Manchester United flag to pull a prank and spite the groom who is a big fan of Liverpool FC and loathes Man Utd with a passion. The photograph encapsulates various emotions: surprise, happiness, embarrassment (note how the groom has put his head down in shame), indifference (my young 3 year old niece who couldn't care less and is looking away intrigued by some smaller activity to the right), excitement, joy and the sheer pleasure that my male cousins are experiencing in triumph of establishing Man Utd's supremacy. True family spirit!
