The title "reflects" one of my favorite novels. Walking in the park with no particular purpose one evening, I saw the reflection from the setting sun off the wooden planks radially arranged around the trees. The texture of the wood, the strong radial lines and the curves give a strong sense of rhythm and substance which are punctuated by the fallen leaves. The curve s lead in from the lower right corner and end in the upper left. They seem to suggest a beginning and an end.
