Lost to history...

Challenge #33 in the Motorized Transportation series. Hosted by rponiarski.
Challenge has finished
There are many companies that have produced motorized vehicles, many of which are no longer with us. Brands such as Oldsmobile, Isetta, De Tomaso and others have made much loved machines, but they just haven't been able to stick around into the 21rst Century. This challenge is to show your best photo of a vehicle whose maker no longer exists. Please tell us who made the vehicle, when and where and a model name if you know it, in the notes when you post the photo. Any photo which doesn't have that information risks being disqualified.

This I think is a 1 toner . The truck was manufactured in the late 1920's and early 1930's. Built in the Basingstoke factory Hampshire UK. Thornycroft stopped manufacture as Thornycroft in 1939 (War years) But still continues as a ship builder.
