Beautiful composition but I'd call it photoshop art, not photography.
Oh btw, i know I'm in the minority here, given the amount of heavily edited images that win here that's obvious, anyway that's MHO.

I agree; nice picture but there's just so much unreality in this "photograph", it should be more rightly described as an abstract. There is no way that the foreground would be that light without post-manipulation and the lake surely would reflect the colour of the clouds? Hang in there GeorgeZ; there are a few of us that believe photo editing has no place in a photography competition.

Maybe if the manipulation is limited to a single raw file, it is ok. After all, a lot of manipulation was performed by using filters during shooting and by developing techniques in the darkroom too.( For my taste, the sky and scenery do not correlate - but that's just me). On second thoughts, maybe the "black" value needs to be increased to make the shadows on the trees more natural (assuming it was done in LR).
