BTW i lived in Seattle for 1 year (50 years ago) but hardly any money to go places. Noticed a few things changed since then...

Indeed. As a dutchman I can confirm those are not tulips.

However. It's still a great picture :-)

Hi hattem,

Yes they are daffodils, these shot is from the Skagit valley in Washington state. Well the even is actually called Tulip festival, but we were couple of weeks early for full bloom of tulips. :)

Thanks all to those that had voted in this image. I was not expecting first place because the co-1st place was a magnificent shot and was my top vote to win in this challenge.

The boy is my first son, when he was still not so conscious about camera.
