Pictures aspect ratio shall be preferably 3:2, 4:3, 16:9 or 1:1.

Main subject(s) must be the snake(s).
Can be one or more living snakes.
The subject(s) must cover the majority of the picture.
Full colour only. Some snakes have great colours.
Any details regarding the species, characteristics, whether it's venomous or not, etc. is welcomed.
"Snakes (2)" means this is the second snakes challenge in my series Animals, coming one year after the first one. It does NOT mean that you have to mandatory shoot 2 snakes in one picture.

Night Adder - Causus Rhombeatus

The Rhombic Night Adder is found in sub-Saharan Africa only - this is a juvenile; although it fills the frame it was only about 14cm long. Average length is approx. 60cm. Contrary to their name they are active during daytime as well. Venomous but low toxicity, unlikely to be fatal. Pupils are round compared to elliptical eyes of other vipers
