Show us seeds still in their pods or capsules, after the flowers have gone. The seeds are waiting to start their life cycle again. These should be in their natural environment, still on or near the plant whether it is a tree, shrub, or grass. If insects or other small creatures are present, that is okay, but they must not dominate the shot.

Processing rules:

Digital photos only, with full EXIF data.
Longest side of entry, Max. 1600px.
Colour only.
No HDR.
Don't remove the background.
Give your entry a title, not just an IMG number
No watermarks or forms of identification.

Capture date rules:

No restrictions.

Comments of encouragement by other entrants are welcome.
Photos entered in previous dpreview.com challenges are not eligible to enter this challenge.
Sandbagging, and vote solicitation will cause DQ'ing of entries, so don't even contemplate it!
Entrants or voters caught cheating will be unwelcome in my future challenges.
