Thanks, all. Yes, it's real. And during the summer, happens almost every day. Especially the young watersnakes, they're probably intrigued by the red snorkel.
But to tell the truth, I've yet to meet an aggressive animal. All I met seem to kinda sense I'm no threat to them, so they act curiously and friendly.
And yes, it takes some time to get used to. ;)

It was taken slowly, camera upside-down, but this pretty snake was not disturbed at all. Remained thus for a few minutes ride (and photo session), then swum away unalarmed.
Nice experience, in all. :)

Congratulations on your well-deserved win. That looks decidedly dangerous.... sea snakes are not to be dismissed lightly, in my experience.

Thanks, these are sweetwater snakes, non-poisonous, but they can bite, if they have a reason. So I simply don't give'em one ;)
