Cape Commorin, Kanyakumari - Southern most tip of India - A Monument and a Memorial built where two seas(Bay of Bengal & Arabian Sea) and an ocean(Indian Ocean) meet. Vivekananda Rock Memorial - Built in memory of the visit of the great Inidan spiritual teacher teacher Swami Vivekananda to Shripada Parai during the month of December 1892 for deep meditation and enlightenment. He swam to this rock and meditated about the past, present and future of India. It is said that he attained enlightenment on the rock, and henceforth became a reformer and philosopher. Thiruvalluvar Statue - 133 feet tall Statue built to honor the great Tamilian poet Thiruvalluvar.
