On a dark night mariners have depended on a guiding light here since 1866.

Notes: Canon 5D2 lying on it's back on the ground looking up. I set the self timer and ran around the other side of the lighthouse to get out of the shot. Only exposure correction in post processing. All colours are real. The blue light is a fixed light that serves as the rear light of a channel range.
