Loving the Classics
Challenge has finished
Sure our modern cars can tell us where to get to places, have bluetooth capabilities, voice commands, airbags, heated seats, etc. But lets flash back to simpler times. When cars may or may not have had seat belts and a car was a real car with chrome and genuine power. This Challenge is for classic cars before 1980. Can be car, truck, motorcycle of any make or model. People (keep it clean) and animals are allowed.

This 1948 Chevy sedan strongly resembles my late father's 1949 Chevrolet 2-door coupe which he acquired third-hand in 1969 from my uncle. Sadly, due to lack of spare parts, he junked it in 1984. Seeing this 1948 model on display, by coincidence on Father's Day last June 20, 2011 (also my late parents' 52nd wedding anniversary), at SM Marilao in Bulacan province, Philippines brought back many fond and happy memories of my boyhood. My father's 1949 Chevy coupe was our family's first car.
