Remembering the Past: Outhouses

Challenge #6 in the Remembering the Past series. Hosted by libertylady.
Challenge has finished
Do you remember when indoor plumbing was not common? Neither do I but I have found many outhouses still exist (though not really utilized). I am looking for historic examples of these and not the metal type used at festivals and other public places. Enjoy.

The Museum is a "working" museum, as can be seen by the heap of animal waste from the stables next to the outhouse. Luckily they provide modern facilities for their visitors. I love the heart-shaped cutout in the door.
