Challenge #3 in the Use your eyes... after that: use your shutter series. Hosted by drmatiz.

When I bought my first digital camera my first picture was of the sandwich I was eating at the time I took it out of the box. When I buy a new camera it's now a little personal tradition to make the first picture one of a sandwich. I was wondering wether some of you do the same with the first shots with a new camera. Be honest please, it's not about the first GOOD picture, but about the genuine first one.

Unboxed the 990 on my pool table, installed battery and turned around and shot this masterpiece. A neon sign my daughter and son-in-law had made for me, my roadster and a film shot of Sun studios in Memphis, Tn. What a satisfying feeling to be able to load this image into the computer and PP to hearts content.
