Remembering the Past: Historic Bridges

Challenge #4 in the Remembering the Past series. Hosted by libertylady.

There are many really interesting bridges in the world. In this challenge, I am not looking for covered bridges as that would be a challenge to itself. They can be beautiful or broken down but should exhibit some character. Please tell where the bridge is located and the age if you know it. You can do that in the title or description.

This bridge is in Mostar, Bosnia - and is reputed to be the test model for the larger and more often photographed Turkish Bridge (over the River Neretva) which was destroyed during the Bosnian wars and subsequently rebuilt in replica.
