Best piece, IMO. What this achieves so well that some others didn't: proper depth of field. This helps to flatten the image and remove a sense of perspective and direction. Everything is razor sharp, making it more difficult to get a sense at what you're looking at, even though it's quite a common view. This extreme DOF and wide blend of color and dynamic range make for a great abstract. It's easy for you to let go of the idea of a staircase and just look at the shapes and colors, it's really beautiful.
