Sometimes you are just a tad late with a trigger. Or you forgot to switch back from Macro to Normal mode. Perhaps you shot something using wrong White Balance, or used an inadequate Program Mode. Maybe it was just badly framed... Let's see how you deal with botched photos to save what can be saved. Show us such pictures spliced together: the ORIGINAL and the REPAIRED. My wife grab my camera (which is set to Manual) and just take this photo when I am holding our 1 month old. It was a little underexposed, directly toward the window and got a disturbing background (a line which is a clothes hanger). I used Lightroom to tune it to even more underexposed and used PS to remove the clothes hanger. The photo becomes tolerable.
