Sometimes you are just a tad late with a trigger. Or you forgot to switch back from Macro to Normal mode. Perhaps you shot something using wrong White Balance, or used an inadequate Program Mode. Maybe it was just badly framed... Let's see how you deal with botched photos to save what can be saved. Show us such pictures spliced together: the ORIGINAL and the REPAIRED. If you want, describe what you have done to salvage the shot. Please read carefully and observe all of the rules!

Late night picture from San Antonio, Texas. Low light, hand held after some drinks, and long shutter time at made this quite underexposed and somewhat blurred on top of that. And the ISO was too low for the occasion. Still it had some potential atmosphere.

Submitted: Sunday, 1st April, 2012 01:31 (GMT)
Taken: Saturday, 3rd March, 2007
Focal length: 55 mm
Shutter speed: 1/6 sec
Aperture: F4
ISO: 800
Notes: The image was cropped and slightly rotated. Curves were aggressively applied both to lift up some areas, and to turn dark areas all black. It was then given an "artsy" overhaul with the intent of printing on slightly rough watercolor paper. That worked out fine, and it conveys plenty of the warm nightly atmosphere.
