Strobist Adventure

Challenge #85 in the Telling the Story series. Hosted by CharlesB58.
Challenge has finished
"Strobists" use portable "hot shoe" flashes instead of studio type lighting equipment in several ways. One is to imitate natural light as much as possible. Another is to duplicate studio style lighting without the big lights. A third is uniquely "strobist", by using the small flashes to create effects not always possible with other types of lighting. Enter your best strobist style photos. Be honest here: do not enter photos using studio flash or continuous lighting (tungsten, fluorescent, LED).

Shot in L.A. during a David Tejada Bib Results from Small Strobes Workshop (Highly Recommend!) Almost all ambient light was stopped down by the ISO. An SB800 was placed outside shooting though the window. D700 White Balance was set to Shadow with full A6 for full Amber. Slave flash fired from an on board SB900 as master. Have your subject look at the light and you will get a shot like this. Dennis
