This challenge requires varied shades of any color or colors as the background. Try to showcase a subject by having a background that does not distract, is not absent, yet adds interest to the picture by it's varied color, tone or shadowing. See examples. You might achieve it with lighting or a shallow depth of field to create the bokeh. Natural outdoor backgrounds may work too. Good luck!

Thanks for the compliments, I'm glad you enjoyed this picture.
The lens I used is a Canon EF 100 f/2.8 USM.
With regard to the technique I used a support for the leaf of grass on which I supported with patience means of a syringe the individual drops of pure and simple water. A bit of shots to find the correct incidence of light and above all the correct position of the flowers behind the drops.
