Thanks Holger. The D100 is indeed not a superb camera by today's standards, but it still gets the job done (asmy first ever digital camera I will keep it as long as it is working). Also the lens is pretty soft and vignettes like hell, but on the 6MP of the D100 it is hardly visible when stopped down (and it was REALLY stopped down... to f/32 if I remember well to get the DOF needed). Although I have a D300 and several better quality lenses I always take the D100 as a backup along with the 24-120VR permanently attached.

Great picture, congratulations on the win!

And I like it even better after following some of the insane discussions in the Nikon gear forums: this wasn't taken with a D4 or D800 and a "holy trinity" lens... an "outdated" D100 and "one of the worst lenses ever" did the job. This really made my day!
