Still life - retake - and chat

Well...admittedly, I love your choice of subject! -I'm a sucker for anything sci-fi or from the "geek" universe! (and I use "geek" here with the utmost affection!) -So the idea of having these two realistic figures battling it out in a mountainous setting is very appealing! I like the composition you've created, having the malefactor in the foreground, facing the anti-hero, makes the figure seem large and powerful and adds to the drama of the scene. The cape of Spawn's costume gives a somewhat diagonal line leading to the figure himself, which is a great aspect of this dynamic comp. The one thing that I would work with is your contrast and color. The image seems strangely "flat" to me, and it's difficult to pick out the outline of the subjects from the rest. I'm not sure if reshooting is necessary, I like the background as part of the story, but making the figures "pop" more -and in keeping with the comic-book feel, would go a long way with such a great subject. More vibrancy perhaps?
