Waterlife Amphibious

Challenge #13 in the WaterWorld series. Hosted by Deleted pending purge.
Challenge has finished
Those cold-blooded animal sorts that live in the waters but visit dry land, or vice versa... Ubiquitous and well-known, some are relatively easy to photograph, the others not quite so easy. People will generally try to sneak upon some dreamy froggie, but quietly mount a telephoto lens to shoot a snake! Let's see some among your beautiful shots of snakes, frogs, lizards, tortoises, or maybe tidal zone snails, shells, crabs... DO NOT enter pics of warm-blooded animals! PLEASE read all the Rules carefully. I hate having to disqualify, but will when I have to.

Managed to sniak up pretty close. Just as I took this he saw me ... and dropped immediately into the water and disappeared. Taken at Coffs Harbourabout 500km/300miles north of Sydney.
