Processing rules:

please no layer masking... photo must have all of it's original content as taken and no added content (editing dust spots is OK). Black and white conversion and HDR is OK for this challenge.

Capture date rules:

No restrictions.

Additional rules:

1. Pictures may not include people or anything man made... no cars, no buildings, etc.
2. Only exception to rule number 1 is people or man made objects directly related to the fire such as emergency crews, firefighter etc. Any comments on the photo will be taken into account if there is a question as to validity of photo content.
3. please indicate in comments or description the location of the photo (not including this won't disqualify, it's just nice).

The Drakensberg mountain range in South Africa is aptly named, translated from Afrikaans to Dragon Mountains. Despite land owners' best efforts to burn effective fire breaks in the winter, the dry vegetation and fierce winds and a careless match are ingredients for destruction.
