This picture was taken on February 4th, during the heaviest snowfall in Rome in several decades. This tree stands in the centre of Circo Massimo, which is normally a barren field where occasionally events take place. The picture was taken around 7am, before people started enjoying the slopes for sledding and snowboarding.
