Film Noir
Challenge has finished
Enter a photo that has a film noir 'look' to it. Noir is stark contrasts, dramatic shadow patterning, side or from-below lit subjects, perhaps dark dirty alleys, gloomy rain, venitian blinds and other straight lines & shadows emphasized. If you like movies of the 40's and 50's you're probably familiar with the style. Although traditionally b&w, moody noir-images can also be shot in color, especially by emphazing blue tones and high contrast images with dark shadows. You can even set up a Hollywood noir-type scene if want. Streetlamps in the fog, or men in Fedoras. As long as it looks like noir. Have fun!
