I was lucky enough to escape this avalanche, I arrived shortly behind it coming from a black slope onto the main slope. Several people were missing. We were digging for survivors. This picture is no piece of art, it was taken with a really basic Canon film point and shoot camera but it sure shows the dreary atmosphere. This was taken in Austria around 1987.
