Challenge has finished
Welcome to the 2011 'Challenge of Challenges'. This is our third annual 'Picture of the Year' competition, contested by some of the leading challenge-winning images from the past twelve months. With over 1700 challenges completed this year, we were unable to include every winning entry so instead, are asking you to vote on a selection of 100 of our favorites. The winning entry (as decided by public vote) will receive a framed exhibition print produced by master printmaker Tyler Boley of Custom-Digital (size dependent on file size and quality, up to a paper size of 24x36") - worth up to $350. To add a little incentive to the voting we'll also be giving a prize (of a framed exhibition print of one of your own images) to the voter who most closely matches the final scoring. We're not going to reveal exactly how this will be calculated, but you must rate all 100 shots in order to be in with a chance of winning. So get voting!

|Focal length:||48 mm|
|Shutter speed:||1/15 sec|
|Notes:||This was the most technical landscape I've ever shot. 3 image blend for a combination of exposure and focus bracketing. Each of the three images had proper exposure for their respective areas. One shot was exposed for the arch, on for the midground, and the last for the sun. The shot for the arch was focused on the arch, the other two were focused towards the middle. These files were manually blended in photoshop to produce the final picture - an accurate representation of that morning's sun|
