Find an artist, a painter, a child doodling. Or capture the sense of using pens, pencils, crayons, paints, chalk, etc. It should not be a stationary photo of just an object. I would like to see a person using the instrument, or the instrument in motion. Play with the depth of field. The instrument to write should be clearly in focus, all the rest is up to you.
