Lesser Kudus come from the savannas. They have to rely on thickets for protection, so they are hardly ever seen in the open. Their drab brown and striped pelts help them disappear in scrub environments. I could not move for 2 hours, waiting for this one to come to the pond for some water. It was getting dark fast, and the bugs started to populate the pond too. But, what a beautiful animal !
