It may have been a bit better if you could see the whole moon.

When I tried to darken the edges the middle section turned almost black. So I tried to keep it as close to the way I shot it as possible.

Nice shot, nice detail, you can just about reach out and touch it! Perhaps a little over-exposed? That bright area near the bottom seems a little burnt out. Unless you were going for that effect?
