I took this at an outcropping of rocks near the Hillsboro inlet in Fort. Lauderdale, Florida close to where i grew up. I always thought one had to travel long distances to find things this beautiful, but I had not yet explored my own backyard. I am not a professional underwater photographer, nor was this taken at an awesome tropical reef, but the image speaks for itself. This photo has been a constant inspiration to look more closely at what is immediately around me.
