Note: I did read that the pictures should be in black and white but why that?!

Why in black and white?
What on earth is so "beautiful" or fashionable to show pictures in black and white?
I will NEVER EVER understand the appeal many people have for black and white pictures!

We live in a world that is in color. Black and white pictures is like having to watch TV in black and white when you can see it in 1080p high-definition and color!!

In color, this picture would have been special. In black and white, it is dull or should I say "killed" by being in black and white!!

4th Place is the same way, and 3rd has no date in the EXIF data. I never even checked that. I purposely checked the exif on my image when I saw that in the rules, and made it by 1 day.

How come your exif gives april 16 2011 for the date that you took the photo, but you give a date after the announcement of the challenge.

Thomas I took this pic in Upper Antelope Canyon in Page, AZ. At certain times of the day light beams enter the slot canyons. One of the most amazing places I have been. I've lived in AZ for 17 years and this was the first time I have been there.
