This challenge is for those of you who have taken photos of your local nature environments immediately after the winter snow has melted and before the plants and trees start to turn green for the summer sunshine. Please refrain from submitting pictures of plants in bloom since that would be a greening effect.

Processing rules:

- Photos **MUST** be taken during early spring before plants turn green
- HDR is allowed in this challenge
- No scanned images
- No digital composites
- No children under age 16
- Do not frame photos or watermark them
- Only photos that you, yourself, have taken
