Of course it's dropped from the top. You can see the finger mark on the ball right in the picture. But the picture it's great nonetheless, and thumbs up for the ideea. I guess you used the 7 fps of the NEX, am I right?

However, I have seen a very similar shot before a few years ago, before Alpha NEX existed, so it was not this picture. If I remember correctly I think the net was included in that picture. The shot might be real or it might be photo shopped. Still a great picture.
