Ever had one of those shots that just took forever to get it right? No editing...just the perfected shot, and maybe a description of what made it hard.

Trying to shoot this dragonfly was one of the most frustrating experiences of my photography life. I labelled the hundreds of shots afterwards "again1..again2..again 300". Their speed and hovering make it so hard. I was also trying to balance my plain colour card on a rock in an attempt to block out the distracting background, while my daughters played around my wobbling tripod. This shot is certainly not technically perfect but ooking back, Im suprised I got any shots at all!
