I was in a field at night, it was pitch black and I was surrounded by bats trying to get dinner for the night. It was too dark to autofocus and too fast to manual focus. I used my cell phone to see the lens and pre-focus it to about 15 feet. Over all, I spent about an hour in that field fighting off bugs. I shot over 100+ shots with my skill getting better towards the end. The neighbor came out thinking there was a lightning storm brewing up outside.
