Filter Effects: Split-Neutral Density
Challenge has finished
Long before digital editors, photographers used filters to create special effects during capture. Before HDR and layer adjustments, photographers used Split Neutral Density filters to capture areas of wide dynamic range in the same image or to create the classic "Dramatic Sky" effect. This technique is still used by many landscape photographers. Enter images in which a Split Neutral Density filter was used. As in the film era, the effect works best if a solid image is used as a start.
