Welcome to this Challenge, the 1st of the Disturbing or Intense series. PLEASE READ THE RULES. Looking for desolate, agoraphobic, vast Landscapes or Seascapes which overwhelm & express an unsettling or disturbing experience to the viewer. Humans, animals or other subject elements are best kept few in number & be small & overpowered by the vastness of the scene. Careful composition & the placement of visual elements is usually critical in such a landscape. When voting & allocating points, please keep this brief in mind. Have fun!

Processing rules:

Normal processing & full colour. Please, no HDR or B&W for this one.

Capture date rules:

No restrictions.

Additional rules:

A full unbroken horizon. Preferably horizontal :)
Submitted images must be 1000 Pixels minimum or 1250 Pixels maximum on the longest side. This is to ensure that the viewing of images is consistent, enabling them to be judged with equal size perception.
Images bigger or smaller will be disqualified.
Black or white or b&w combination frames, up to a total of 40 pixels maximum are ok. Larger or colour frames will be disqualified.
NO watermarks, symbols, type or text of any sort on submitted images.
