The theme here is technical photography and realism. The subject is rich high quality color landscapes. Deep DOF, perfect exposure, low distortion, no vignetting, clarity and technically as good as possible. This is for traditional scenics, like rivers, seascapes, mountains, deserts. This is intended for photographers who use release cables, MLU, tripods, excellent glass and high resolution cameras.

Processing rules:

Must be color, otherwise use your best process and let the voters decide if it is good.

Capture date rules:

No restrictions.

Additional rules:

Voters, please view at full size before voting and make image qualitry a high priority. I suggest slidshow, full screen but turn off the view full size feature. This provides a fast way to vote on the original size.
Reccomended image size at least 1200 pixels.
No cityscapes
No architectural images.
Keep manmade objects at a minimum unless they are old relics that fit the scene.
Abstracts will not be disqualified, but are not encouraged.
Novelty is not a substitute for beauty.
