House, Not a Mansion (exterior only - single family residence)

Exterior of any residential house, no living creatures of any kind are allowed anywhere in the image. Single Family Residences only, this means that the house is a stand alone structure with its own lot. No apartment buildings, hotels or dwellings that are multi-family homes. Avoid mansions, but I realize there is a significant gray area between a house (under 8000 square feet) and a mansion (over 8000 square feet).

Processing rules:

1. Photo-realism is required, be very careful with the use of HDR.
2. Multiple entries must be significantly different from each other, if images are too similar one will be DQ'd.

Capture date rules:

No restrictions.

Additional rules:

1. There should be only building in the frame, keep neighboring structures to an absolute minimum.
2. Whenever a DQ happens there will be an explanation.
3. Mansions or castles might get DQ'd.
4. Multiple entries must be significantly different from each other, if images are too similar one will be DQ'd. Do not submit different views of the same house.
5. Please be sure your entries acknowledge and reflect the title and spirit of the series.
